IGF-1+ (Insulin like growth factor) is a hormone that is produced from HGH (Human Growth Hormone), which is the main hormone secreted by the pituitary gland. It is produced during strenuous physical exercise or during sleep and is immediately converted into IGF by the liver. As we age less HGH is secreted by the pituitary gland and IGF-1+ production is diminished. Scientists believe that the reduced production of HGH and IGF-1+ is associated with graying hair, wrinkled skin, loss of sexual desire and function, decreased energy and increasing of body fat.
IGF-1+ has been shown to improve wound healing, promoted for performance enhancing effects on the human body and acceleration of the body’s natural restorative processes.
